Making Memories to Last a Lifetime This Summer

Making Memories to Last a Lifetime This Summer

Summer feels a little different this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy the sunshine and make lots of happy memories. If anything, this time at home offers you some extra time to appreciate the smaller things in life. Here, we share some of our favourite ways we can make memories this summer, despite the current climate.

Movie night

If you don’t fancy heading to the cinema when they reopen, why not make your own movie night at home? You can make your own popcorn and enjoy your own cinema snacks, whilst in the comfort of your own home. If the weather is nice, you can head out into your garden and make a cosy snug too. You can even make this a weekly event, with one person in your household choosing the film each week for a special treat.

Holi-Day at the beach

Whilst it’s possible that we might miss out on on a summer holiday abroad this year, that doesn’t have to stop you making the most of your time off. Plan a day off to travel to your nearest beach, complete with all your beach essentials and a great big picnic. Close your eyes, sunbathe and relax – you’ll never know the difference!

 Take lots of photographs

It’s unlikely we’ll ever be in this situation again in our lifetime, so take plenty of photos to capture the happy memories amidst the uncertainty. As summer comes to an end and we start to migrate towards normality, you can make your own scrapbook to look back on for years to come.
